Join other like-minded practitioners on this first day of the new calendar year to center yourself after the busy holiday season. Our time together will be a blend of soothing pranayama and kriya practices, restorative poses, and a partially guided meditation. Restorative yoga uses props to support the body in various shapes for longer periods of time (usually several minutes), allowing for subtle openings and cultivation of a clearer, more centered mind. The result is often a feeling of deep calm and equanimity that support you on your journey into the next chapter.
For those attending online, an email will be sent the day before with a list of props to gather for practice. You don’t necessarily need props specifically designed for yoga – suggestions will be included for using everyday household items.
All levels are welcome!
